The bold orange, hot pink and fluorescent green colors that have been popping up in trade magazines (and just about everywhere else we look) are yet another example of what a trend means to our business.

Especially in the floral and home décor businesses this trend toward hot and vivid hues is making for big profits for many an “in-touch” florist and interior designer.

Sometimes a trend, because of the marketing hype associated with it, may seem an undesirable path to follow, but if you can make money with the free marketing you will be able to tie into, then you should follow it until the end. It's best not to let any moneymaking method slip by before trying it out.

The delicious colors in this hot trend attracts and holds the eye. These colors, when used together, invigorate the viewer and intensify your designs. I recommend adding a few to your display and whenever attracting new business. Don't forget that summertime means garden and tea parties, bridal showers and anniversary parties galore… the perfect time to bring out your wild and exotic colors is now.
