At age 19, with the sound advice of his grandfather and only one client, David opened his own events planning business. Today, David Tutera Inc. is an award winning company built from experience, dedication and Tutera’s natural talent for transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. His name has become synonymous with style, elegance, creativity and vision. Tutera's impressive client list is lengthy, and includes Star Jones’ wedding, Jennifer Lopez’s Still perfume launch, the 2003 the 1998 Post Grammy Party in New York City, Vice President Gore at the White House, The John F. Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts, Lincoln Center, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Kenneth Cole, Tommy Hilfiger and countless film premiere and celebrity parties. Tutera's designs have garnered him the special events industry's prestigious GALA Award for five consecutive years (1995-2000). David is a Contributing Entertaining Expert on ABC’s hit morning show The View, TBS’s Movie And A Makeover, as well as on The Tony Danza Show.
